In-Form and Fashion: Shaping Your Style, Reinventing Your Story.

I was born into fashion, as it is told to me, serving up my unsolicited opinions on outfits and fashion as a mere toddler (an uncensored experience, I believe my aunts still hold against me). My earliest memories are making a recurring beeline for my aunt’s closet and her wooden platform sandals with their stiletto heel and quarter strap design and observing, though not yet understanding, the power of a striped tube top, worn braless. It was the 70’s.  

At 5, my idols were Lady Diana, successively Princess of Wales, and Jackie Kennedy Onassis, in the 90’s, Carolyn Bessette, then Carrie Bradshaw.

In the earliest stages of my career at a global media company, I was reviewing the newest publicity photo spread when I came upon the most beautiful shoe I had ever seen. Emboldened by shameless lusting, I hunted down the contact information of the foremost news anchor in the intercompany email directory, asking where she got her glossy, black, almond-toed slingbacks. That was my first introduction to Manolo Blahnik. It wasn’t about a trend or an image, it was simply classic beauty.

As a former CEO I traveled the world. And now it’s about coming home to myself and my story. Fashion styling has been my dream. For me, fashion was, and remains, about me, about you, not it. Fashion was always forming my becoming. At its essence, it is a deeply personal experience that evolves and redefines the self.
